The following is a guide to some of the areas we can focus on but we would prefer to co-design your program along with you. We are very flexible and creative - we look forward to designing individual programs with clients needs, ideas and preferences front of mind.
Ideas for weekly focus:
Week 1 - Calm State - Noticing when you are becoming activated and how to regulate your nervous system using simple tools.
Week 2 - Awareness - Awareness of Self, including thoughts, feelings and sensations, awareness of others and the environment. We will help you to learn and practice how to become present, aware and grounded.
Week 3 - Boundaries - Understanding and becoming respectful of personal space, touch, and verbal boundaries. To discover what is OK and NOT OK. How to communicate these clearly.
Week 4 - Thoughts - Becoming aware of self-talk, beliefs and where they come from. How thoughts affect your energy, body language and actions. Noticing helpful or unhelpful thinking.
Week 5 - Feelings - Through understanding that feelings are information, all feelings are welcome. We will help you to learn how to choose how you want to express your feelings in a healthy manner. We will help you to become aware of the early sensations of any feelings that arise so that you can act, not react and that you have confidence in your choices.
Week 6 - Relationship - The ingredients necessary to engage and develop healthy relationships. Noticing and understanding self and noticing others, give and take, mutuality. Rupture and repair work.
Week 7 - Challenges of life – How to deal with life and the challenges it throws at us.

This program is aimed at connecting or reconnecting people with horses. We have 8 beautiful horses who all enjoy attention every day so this is an opportunity to come and just hang out with them in whatever way that feels right and safe to you.
With Equine Assisted Learning at the forefront, this program will provide an opportunity to build confidence around horses, learn more about them, care for them and be in close contact with them. It will assist in developing close, authentic relationships with our horses and aims to assist in:

We invite you to come and join a small group of like-minded women. The focus of of these gatherings is to spend time being present, mindful and enjoy time in a nature based setting with horses and other animals.
These sessions are based outdoors but we have protection from the elements and on cold days we will be sitting around a small campfire with a cuppa and some cake/biscuits.
There will be time for you to spend with the horses but you don't need any horse experience. We promise to keep you safe and supported and in anyway you require. It will be a gift to yourself to take time out and relax and head home refreshed, reconnected and ready for the weekend ahead.
Our sessions are structured to ensure we are also exploring and learning along the way. We will explore........

What will this program be like?
The idea behind this program is to bring women together to take some time out of their busy week and spend time being present, mindful and connected.
Each session will follow a simple and flexible schedule similar to this.
Arrival - Enjoy a welcome cup of tea/coffee
Check-in - Some guided conversation about what everyone is wanting from each session.
Equine experience: Spend time with the horses in any way that feels right (we have staff to support you in your time with the horses)
Come back together - enjoy some reflection time over another cup of tea/coffee.
No horse experiences necessary. All you need to bring is your curiosity and open mind, yourself, and knowing that there will be no judgement just lots of conversation.
